Summer is just around the corner and that means warmer weather and of course pool time. As you may or may not know, Seattle has tons of great public pools that are available for you to use. So here’s when Seattle public pools are reopening and what to expect.
Seattle has several public pools that are open year-round like the Ballard Pool, Evans Pool, Madison Pool, Queen Anne Pool, Rainier Beach Pool, and Southwest Pool. Each has its own unique offerings like lap pools, hot tubs, water slides, and more. Keep in mind that the Medger Evans Pool is closed until further notice.

Both Colman Pool and Mounger Pool will open on the weekend of June 18th and 19th. These two pools are both outdoors, with Colman Pool being extra special because it’s actually heated saltwater. Mounger is pretty cool as well but is definitely more family-oriented.
So if you’re excited to swim mark your calendars for the return of these two local public pools or head to one of the many great indoor options. With that enjoy and happy summer!
