Summer is here and that means warmer weather and, of course, pool time. As you may or may not know, Seattle has tons of great public pools that are available for you to use. Good news, Seattle public pools are officially open for the summer season, and here’s what to expect.

Seattle has several public pools that are open year-round like the Ballard Pool, Evans Pool, Madison Pool, Queen Anne Pool, Rainier Beach Pool, and Southwest Pool. Each has its own unique offerings like lap pools, hot tubs, water slides, and more. But what about the others?

Both Colman Pool and Mounger Pool, have now also opened as of the weekend of June 24th. These two pools are both outdoors, with Colman Pool being extra special because it’s actually heated saltwater. Mounger is pretty cool as well but is definitely more family-oriented.

Each pool has its own hours, schedule and rules so be sure to familiarize yourself before you head out.

Now if you want something a little more action-packed you can also head to one of Washington’s great water parks.

If you’re excited to swim, all you have to do is grab your suit and a towel and get over to your closest pool. Enjoy and happy summer!
