Well Seattle, it’s a new week. From free eats to old movies, new museums, outdoors and more, there’s no shortage of fun to be had around the city. Here are 10 of the best things to do in & around Seattle this week. Oh, and Happy Spring!

Treat yourself to free ice cream

Dairy Queen is beginning treat season with free ice cream and they want you to have it. and while there’s actually no dairy queens within the city of Seattle there are a few nearby that are worth driving to if you happen to live within a reasonable distance. After all, who can say no to free ice cream!

Get your favorite Ivar’s entree for $1.18

On Tuesday, March 21st, you can visit any Ivar’s Seafood Bars, the Fish Bars, Acres of Clams, Salmon House or Mukilteo Landing for Ivar’s Birthday Special. Each customer is eligible for the buy one entrée and get one for $1.18 from Ivar’s Birthday Menu. To get the deal, all you have to do is say, “Happy birthday, Ivar!”

Try a wine subscription

Local natural wine shop and bar La Dive actually offers a monthly wine subscription! When you sign up you can choose between three different subscription options. The first option is two bottles a month for $42, then four bottles a month for $84, or six bottles a month for $120.

Seattle WNDR Museum

Chicago’s WNDR museum is officially opening here in Seattle! The Seattle WNDR Museum will open on March 22nd and has nearly 13,000 square feet with more than 20 exhibits for visitors to check out. Some of those exhibits include the light floor, hyper mirror, INSIDEOUT, and more.

Check out a free workout class

The Seattle Center is offering free workout classes every Wednesday until March 29th. Attendees can choose between yoga and Zumba classes. All classes are drop-in so all you have to do is show up but make sure to bring water, proper attire, and a yoga mat.

Spring Market at Occidental Square

On Friday, March 24th you can head to Occidental Square to shop from 15-plus makers offering handmade jewelry, art, gifts, flowers and more. You’ll also be able to enjoy live music, face painting, a craft station and more. Keep in mind the event runs from 11 AM-4 PM.

Watch The Breakfast Club

No not at home! The Breakfast Club is actually playing at Central Cinema through the week. It’s hard to go wrong with the classic movie and it never hurts to see oldies in theatre.
