ICE ON WHYTE

The Ice on Whyte Festival is back! This week, some amazing ice sculptors will be creating stunning pieces all along Whyte Ave. There will be a competition, as well as demonstrations through the festivities.

EDMONTON CHINATOWN DINING WEEK

Starting on Thursday, businesses around the city will be participating in Edmonton’s Chinatown Dining Week and will be offering $20 or $10 specials. Of note, offers are valid for dine-in only during certain hours, pick-up only, or both!

TENILLE TOWNES

Reigning CCMA Entertainer of the year and two-time ACM Award winner Tenille Townes is embarking on her SIDE A + B TOUR in January, continuing to demonstrate how Townes has explored duality throughout her most recent works. She stops in Edmonton this week.

DARK MATTERS: SCIENCE OF SEX

It’s the hottest night of the year at the Telus World of Science! “Dark Matters: Science of Sex” is all about provocative talks by local experts exploring all things naughty and nice. Get in on the action and learn about “crazy animal sex lives, what a cell phone and a vibrator have in common,” and more! Of note, this event is 18+.

ILLUMINATURE

This Friday, check out Illuminature 2.0, an interactive night of house music, custom visuals, live art, and handcrafted cocktails and food by the Muttart cafe at Muttart Conservatory. There will be DJs to dance, a tequila bar, and live art. This event is 18+.

ALT AFTER DARK NIGHT MARKETS

SNOW WAY OUT

Have you checked out Snow Way Out yet? Downtown Edmonton’s first snow maze is at the Fan Park, directly next to Rogers Place! The massive 75’x75’ Oilers themed maze includes multiple photo opportunities. It’s the last weekend to check it out!
