EDMONTON OPERA: TOSCA

According to organizers, this is “one of the grandest of all operas and a must see for opera lovers and newcomers alike. As timeless as ever, Tosca portrays a world where lovers and artists face tyranny and evil, with some of the most famous music ever composed.”

HAUNTED TROLLEY TOUR OVER HIGH LEVEL BRIDGE

We are full on Halloween mode this week, which means you can check out this spooky and historical Trolley ride over the Historic and Haunted High Level Bridge and throughout Old Strathcona as the sun sets over Deadmonton. Hear the horrible history of the area and some of Old Strathcona’s and Edmonton’s most spooky and gruesome ghost stories.

PUMPKINS AFTER DARK

Last call for Pumpkins After Dark! This place will set you in the mood for Halloween! It’s a place that is all about this time of year, where you can enjoy thousands of hand-carved pumpkins in a beautiful setting.

DARK: FORT EDMONTON PARK

Get spooked this week! Escape a menacing jokester whose grand gesture is murder. Visit a farm where a sinister deal harvests gruesome consequences. Or dare to discover what nightmares are made of when demons come knocking at three in the morning. Whatever your fright, DARK will leave you looking for the light switch!

FRIGHT NIGHTS AT CREEPY HOLLOW

Creepy Hollow is one of the most unique, most underrated spots in the province. Unlike anything else you’ll see in Alberta, this haunted experience acts as a campsite, haunted house hybrid with creepy touches throughout the entire park. Explore spooky houses, participate in movie nights and play games with other guests during your stay! It’s essentially a Halloween-themed summer camp for adults.

SPRUCE RIDGE SCARE

There’s nothing more terrifying than an at-home haunt! This month, check out Spruce Ridge Scare, a family-owned and built Haunted House located at #287 Spruce Ridge rd. in Spruce Grove! The family charges either $5 a person, or one non-perishable food donation per person (for the parkland food bank).

EDMONTON GHOST TOUR

Yes yes, another spooky event to wrap our season. The Haunted Pub Walking Tour in Old Strathcona will tell the tales of hauntings, ghosts, and mysteries, all while enjoying some spirits (food and drink) along the way.
