Gifts under the tree aren’t the only thing Canadians are wishing for this holiday season. According to Airbnb, there are a few properties that are more coveted than the rest as people start booking their family get-togethers for the holidays.
Airbnb has released new data about where Canadians are vacationing this December and the kinds of rentals people are seeking for their getaway. Among the most popular and trending this year are farm stays, barns, lodges, and treehouses, according to Airbnb.
Now that people are free to travel again, many are booking longer holiday trips of at least 7 nights on average and to cities all over the country, especially in Toronto, Victoria, and Collingwood.
However, the rentals that Canadians have wish-listed the most this time of year are in some pretty unexpected places. Here’s a look at the Airbnbs that won travellers over the most this holiday season.
