From Bernie Sanders and his oversized mittens, Donald Trump and the Vampire crazy of 2008 (the year that Twilight hit the big screen), the most popular costume of every year says a whole lot about where we’ve been, what we watched, and who we listen to – so this Canada’s most searched costume on Google for 2021 (according to FatherMag) should come as no surprise!
According to the publication (using data collected over the last month) Canada can expect to see a whole lot of green zip-ups, white vans, pink jumpsuits, and fencing helmets – as the term Squid Game was the most popular on the site.
In fact, it was also the most searched term worldwide, with the US, Ireland, the UK, New Zealand and Australia typing it like mad into the engine.
