Toronto just got a new outdoor skating rink at The Well’s Nordic-inspired playground

Not only is Toronto’s most exciting retail space, The Well, home to new stores and upcoming dining destinations but it also has a skating rink for the winter season.

Now until March 18th, 2024, The Well welcomes all to enjoy its public skating rink.

Grab your skates or borrow a pair from the Skating Hut and hit the ice.

Rental rates for adults are $10 and kids sizes (1 to 13) are $5. All of the rental proceeds support the Out of the Cold Program, according to The Well.

“For the best experience, we recommend arriving at the Skating Hut, located adjacent to The Rink on Front St W, 15 minutes before your session,” shares the site.

“This will provide you with sufficient time to check-in, secure skate rentals, size up appropriately, check your parcels/boots, and to lace up for your skating session.”

For those 12 and under, they must wear a helmet.

“Kid’s Skate Aids and Adaptive Equipment for accessibility are also available to borrow from the Skating Hut with our compliments,” states the site.

It’s important to note that these rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Add this spot to the list of public rinks and trails you can enjoy across Toronto.
