This popular Toronto pub is bringing us back to the 80s

Missing the good ol’ days? Nostalgia gives us a sense of comfort and sentimentality, and while it’s easy to throw on some tunes and jam out to classics, it’s hard to really tap into all our senses simultaneously to re-live the past.

That’s where The Upper Deck comes in.

For those not in the know, the popular Toronto sports pub, The Pint, reno-ed its second floor this past spring, and the place is a dream come true for millennials and gen Xers alike. The Upper Deck gives you everything you’re looking for to have a good time. With a retro ’80s and early ‘90s vibe, it’s stacked with boisterous sounds, vibrant colours, and decor inspired by the times.

All week long, guests can drop by The Upper Deck and indulge themselves in a huge selection of arcade games like vintage pinball, or face off with friends to an all-time Canadian favourite – air hockey.

The second best part is the food. The Upper Deck menu features all of the Pint favourites, including a huge selection of award-winning wings, burgers and bowls to satisfy all your cravings.

The drinks are not to be ignored either. Most impressively, The Upper Deck has 40 beers on tap, highlighting some of Toronto’s best craft beer brewers and offering well-known faves.

They even have an ‘80s-themed party every Friday night from 10 PM – 2 AM that’ll really make you feel like you’ve travelled back in time, with their DJ spinning a curated retro playlist all night long.

FYI – you can also reserve the venue for corporate events and special occasions. With over 3,000 square feet of space, great food, and fun games, your guests are sure to have an amazing time. And with the holidays just around the corner, what better place to celebrate the festivities than by hosting a serious blast from the past holiday party that guests will never forget?

Thank us later.
