We’re here on this fine Tuesday afternoon to remind you of the crazy apartments that exist in this city. Today we’re talking about probably the craziest, you know Smith Tower? Well, the top of it is actually an apartment and it’s still for rent meaning you can live there. But the rent is ‘price upon request’ and that means it will probably cost you your soul.

We kid, the penthouse at the Smith Tower is seriously out of this world. Not only is it inside of Seattle’s most iconic tower but it was also renovated by Graham Baba Architects and Valor Builds to create the dreamiest modern residence. All in all, the home is pretty small with 1 bedroom and 1.5 bathrooms.

What it does have in size it makes up for with “360º views of Puget Sound, Olympic Mountains, the Cascades, Mt. Rainier & the city below”. Not to mention, the glass globe on top is yours to explore thanks to your very own spiral staircase. You’ll get to have the experience of living on top of the world, er Seattle.

We’re not exactly sure what life at the 37th and 38th floor would be or is like but we can imagine it’s pretty dreamy. That being said, the price tag for calling this place home probably isn’t so dreamy. Do you all have any guesses? $50k? $100k? Over that? It’s hard to say, but we know the number has to hurt considering it’s been on the rental market for a few months now.

Either way, we’re happy to have these amazing sneak peek pictures to live vicariously through. And it should go without saying but if one of you ends up being the lucky individual to live here, please invite us over, we have to see what that globe at the top is like.
