The official Lululemon Team Canada Olympic gear is here & you can buy it today (PHOTOS)

Back in September, it was announced that Lululemon would be taking over the Team Canada Olympic merchandise from Hudson’s Bay Company. Now, we’ve got the first look at the Lululemon gear made for Team Canada, and it’s pretty dang Canadian.

These official athletes’ uniforms are for the Opening Ceremonies, podium and media moments, and Closing Ceremonies, so Canada’s athletes will be flexing serious fits all Games’ long.

Even more, the Lululemon Team Canada gear has a level of inclusiveness and individuality not seen before in Olympic merch. “Athletes can really customize or personalize their experience based on expectations, body types, thermal preference,” Chantelle Murnaghan, Lululemon VP of research and science of feel said. “They can really leverage modularity.”

Lululemon has taken classic Canadian pieces like the maple leaf and the colour red and transformed them into an athletic set of gear that is equally beautiful and useful. The red kits will be used for the opening ceremonies, while the ivory gear will be used for the closing ceremonies.

As of today, October 26th, the Opening Ceremony outerwear, the media apparel, and the guest items will be available for purchase! The opening ceremonies gear is going on sale online and in stores this week while the podium and closing ceremonies gear will be available to the public in the near future.
