Talk about a switch-up! After over a decade with the Hudson’s Bay Company, another major Canadian brand, lululemon, will be the official supplier of Team Canada at the Olympic Games. The deal includes the next 4 Olympic Games, so let’s check it out!

The deal, which was announced Thursday, will cover both the Summer and Winter Games through 2028. Things will kick off in Beijing for the 2022 Winter Games, and will cap off with the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles. It’s good news for fans of the brand, since they’ll get both summer and winter collections to check out!

And, it must have been a no-brainer for lululemon, which has seen tremendous growth over the past few years. The Vancouver-based company saw a record-breaking revenue of over $4B USD in 2020, and has continued its climb in 2021.

Plus, it will provide a global platform to show off both womenswear and menswear for the brand. Lululemon has long had a menswear side, but it has always been in the shadow of their women’s collections. Naturally, outfitting both women and men for future games will increase their visibility.

Now, we just wait until the first lululemon x Team Canada collection gets released! You better bring the noise lululemon, we wouldn’t expect anything less.
