Tim Burton’s ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ is coming in concert to Edmonton

Mixing the two best holidays, Halloween and Christmas, The Nightmare Before Christmas is making an appearance in Edmonton.

Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas in Concert will be hitting the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium this December. This adventure is only in Edmonton for one day, so don’t miss out!

What to expect

On Dec. 14, the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium will be filled with fans of Tim Burton, a symphony orchestra, and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

The FILMharmonique Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Erik Ochsner, will be performing Tim Burton’s stop-motion masterpiece. The story follows the earnest-but-misguided adventures of Jack Skellington, Halloween Town’s beloved Pumpkin King, as he attempts to take over the Christmas holiday.

This performance will be live with the film, allowing guests to follow along and be fully immersed in not only the movie, but also the music. Other productions FILMharmonique Orchestra will be putting on in Edmonton include Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi.

Tickets are available online on Ticketmaster, with prices starting at $64. Although it isn’t sold out, tickets are selling fast, so be sure to snatch them soon!
