Of all the landing pages on the internet, Google Earth is one of our favorites. From far-off cities, towns, and communities, to unusual landmarks – we can travel across the entire world with just a click of the mouse.

What’s even more impressive though, is that the service can show us things that we didn’t even know were right under our noses – like closed sets for major Hollywood productions.

Starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsay, the crew of Alberta-shot The Last Of Us have occupied our busiest areas, most scenic destinations, and made for TV facilities like The Calgary Film Centre.

However, while we’ve been treated to PLENTY over the last few months – there’s even more that we’ll have to wait to see when the video-game adaption premieres – or at least that’s what we thought.

Thanks to YouTube super sleuth, Joanastic all the way in Spain – we might have just gotten a behind-the-scenes look at one of the show’s biggest filming locations.

As seen here – Joanastic and Twitter fan accounts alike, believe that this is a to-scale version of the game’s iconic quarantine zone, built and dressed for the upcoming series.

While it’s a big grainy – old moss-covered cars can be seen scattered across the grounds, along with cranes and tiny cityscapes – which makes their claim tough to argue (considering it looks a LOT like their more public sets.)

Of course, we won’t know for sure until 2023 when The Last Of Us finally hits HBO.

Until then – Calgarians should keep their eyes out! They’ll only be in town until June 10th – and you won’t want to miss your chance to see it all with your own two eyes!
