It’s official: Alberta-shot ‘The Last Of Us’ has a 2023 premiere date & here’s when you can tune in

Big news for those who are looking forward to HBO series ‘The Last Of Us!”

As confirmed by showrunners, Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, fans can finally look ahead to an official premiere date – and it’s even sooner than you may have anticipated!

According to the network, ‘The Last Of Us’ will hit the small screen on Sunday, January 15th, 2023, which is just what teli-enthusiasts need pending House of Dragon season 2.

Starring Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) and Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones), TLOU was proudly filmed in Calgary, Canmore and Edmonton, with many a photo and video being shared among locals and honestly, it looks incredible.

Based on an iconic video game of the same name, the upcoming drama will follow Joel a smuggler who is tasked with escorting a young girl across post-apocalyptic America and is projected to be one of the most expensive shows ever made.

Since it wrapped earlier this year, we’ve only got a teaser trailer – but that was enough to hold us over, until now.

Here’s to hoping the premiere date sticks and to a release of an official trailer where we get to see even more of our beautiful province.

We’ll be waiting!
