If you’re a big Greek/Mediterranean food lover, you’ve no doubt heard of The Greek by Anatoli, AKA a crown jewel of North Vancouver’s Lonsdale Avenue. Since 1984, the restaurant has been serving up delicious Greek cuisine inspired by family recipes, opening locations in Yaletown and Gastown in 2016 and 2018 respectively.

Now, the second generation of family ownership is expanding to Mount Pleasant with a brand new location.

Located steps away from the Broadway-City Hall Canada Line station, the cozy 50-seat restaurant is now officially open daily, serving lunch, dinner, and happy hour.

Diners can expect to feast on familiar traditional and modern Mediterranean dishes that the restaurant is known for, all the while surrounded by retro Greek memorabilia and murals.

As well, its central location and extensive kitchen facilities mean that those seeking ‘grab-and-go’ lunches have daily specials to choose from.

So there you have it, Vancouver! The next time you’re craving Greek food, consider checking out the new Mount Pleasant spot.
