This Ontario trail will have hundreds of jack-o-lanterns & midway rides

Looking for more fun fall activities? Embark on this candle-lit walking trail with over a hundred jack-o-lanterns lighting up the night sky. The Great Pumpkin Trail is back at the Royal Botanical Gardens with a new pathway and mini midway exhibitions.

According to RBG Canada, the Great Pumpkin Trail will kick off on October 20th, celebrating its 10-year anniversary.

You will journey through the Hendrie Valley, walking past creatively designed and cut-out jack-o-lanterns.

The family-friendly event includes live entertainment, pumpkin-themed activities, and fall-inspired treats.

And as for new additions, this year guests will have the chance to explore a new pathway and find themselves upon a mini midway exhibition.

“Your admission to The Great Pumpkin Trail does not include access to the midway rides,” per RBG. You will be able to purchase ride tickets onsite.

Here you can take part in midway rides and inflatables located at Cherry Hill Gate.

You will also be able to buy drinks and food along the way.

It’s important to note that only a 1/4 km loop of the Pumpkin Trail is fully wheelchair-accessible and stroller-friendly therefore trollers and wagons are not recommended, according to RBG.

Due to its high demand, there will be timeslots for visitors to explore the trail starting at 5:30 PM and every 15 minutes following until 8:30 PM.

Book your tickets online and get ready for a fun fall experience.
