Off to the races: Here’s when Vancouver’s ‘most stylish event of the summer’ is on

If the promise of extravagant hats, rousing derby action, and all things fancy get you excited for summer, this is for you. The Cup (formerly known as The Deighton Cup) returns to Vancouver this July at the Hastings Racecourse, and you won’t want to miss it.

Prepare yourself for the city’s “most stylish event of the summer,” complete with fine garments, silk bow ties, live music, craft cocktails, and a variety of local art.

Visitors can indulge in fancy drinks as they bet on the ponies, dance to international DJs, and watch as the races unfold.

The Cup will have multiple tiers of tickets available – starting with pre-sale tickets for $65 per person, which you can now grab online.

Each pass includes admission into the event and access to Daytime Derby Racing, The Style Stakes for the “Best Dressed,” and access to leisure sports, a picnic area, and a cigar lounge.
