The City of Seattle has extended free outdoor seating permits until next fall

Well, folks, it looks like the City of Seattle might finally be getting the idea when it comes to helping and supporting local restaurants. And on that note, they’ve extended free outdoor seating permits until next October. Because we all know, outdoor dining is the future.

After all, it’s pretty dang clear the pandemic isn’t going away anytime soon. So with that in mind, restaurants across the city are going to have to continue to adapt in order to stay in business. And luckily the City of Seattle has decided to try and make that at least a little bit easier.

Not to mention the city is also now issuing free tent and heater permits for restaurants who want to winterize patios. And on that note, outdoor dining equipment can now remain outside 24/7. But when it comes to all these changes and the permit process, we can’t say how speedy the city will be.
