Homesick in the Big Apple? There’s a Canada-themed bar in New York City

You might not expect to see poutine or polar bears south of the border, but hidden deep within the concrete jungle, you’ll find a little slice of home.

Aptly named, The Canuck is dedicated to Canadian patrons, culture and celebrities – from Seth Rogan to Celine Dion.

Located in New York City, this sports bar is the only one of its kind and offers familiar foods, whiskey and Canadian Beers including Molson, Moosehead and Labatt, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

In addition to the themed decor and a carefully curated playlist, fans can also pop in to watch their favourite team play hockey, baseball, basketball and soccer.

Whether you’re a Raptors devotee or love the Maple Leafs, this is THE place to grab a bite to eat and have a caesar.

Find yourself in the Big Apple and need your Nanaimo bar fix?

The Canuck is open until 2 am Sunday to Friday and 12 am to 4 am on Saturday.

Happy eating and enjoy.

The Canuck, New York City
