After years of anticipation, The Burrows by Good Knights Entertainment can soon be enjoyed by the public – and it looks like it’s going to be adorable.

Located In Three Hills, an hour and a half from Calgary and two and a half hours from Edmonton, this magical resort will be a must-visit for those who grew up reading novels by the late great, J.R. R. Tolkein.

With over 650 square feet of space, this hillside accommodation can sleep up to 6 people comfortably and will have a full kitchen, sitting room, front yard, in-floor heating, a 3-piece bathroom and even a cedar hot tub.

In addition, guests will be able to take full advantage of the fun they offer at their encampment, which ranges from sword-wielding and archery classes (offered between May and September) to feasts and festivals (offered between May and September).

In the winter months, however, activities will be limited – though you’ll still be able to relax and walk nearby trails, which are perfect for snowshoeing and tobogganing!

Accessible for 10 months a year (between March and December, including New Year’s Day), those interested are able to book now ahead of its big mid-November opening – but hurry!

It’s going to be a busy year for them! After all, there’s really nothing like it, Alberta!
