Sunflower season may be coming to a close, but that just means we’re one step closer to cranberry season – AKA, the best transition from summer to fall we could ask for.
The BOG at Riverside Cranberry Farm is celebrating with a special Harvest Kick-Off Party at the end of the month, where guests can embark on a vibrant harvest walk through the fields, pick up fresh cranberries, and even participate in an exciting “Cranberry Plunge!”
The latter allows guests to don waders and step into the shoes (or boots, as it were) of the cranberry farmers themselves, wading through a sea of floating cranberries. So if you’re looking for an out-of-the-box fall experience, head to The BOG.

The experience is priced at $25 per person (available online) and includes one complimentary alcoholic beverage or cranberry mocktail.
The Harvest Kick-Off Party will take place on September 23rd from 3 to 5 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m., with food and drink vendors available onsite.
Self-guided tours of the farm are also available on September 29th and 30th, and October 5th, 6th, 7th, and 9th. Visitors can see the beater machine hard at work, and even see the cranberries being pumped off the field.
So there you have it, Vancouver! If you’re looking to fully immerse yourself in cranberry season this year, you know where to head.
