This environmentally friendly Washington home sits on 85 acres, has a saltwater pool, & belongs to a diamond heiress

Washington is certainly known for its uniqueness and it’s not every day that you find a home that truly encompasses that. From sci-fi to spirituality to tech and off-the-grid living, we’ve found a home that has taken all of that and created a space, unlike anything you’ve seen before. Hidden in Tenino Washington you’ll find Merkaba.

“Live Merkaba” is the name given to this one-of-a-kind sustainable home. Its name comes from sacred geometry and represents a “three-dimensional, 8-point star made from two pyramids which is a symbol often associated with positive energy, harmony, and balance.”

The home’s relation to geometry and shape becomes even more interesting and relevant because its owner is the heiress to the De Beers diamond fortune, according to South Sound Magazine.

What’s more, the magazine’s original article was written in 2018, and the home’s original listing price was $11 million. For comparison, today it is still on the market for almost half the price at $5.950 million.

Why it’s still on the market we’re unsure, after all, this home has some pretty spectacular amenities. It has off-grid functionality while maintaining modern standards and luxury by using self-sustaining geothermal and solar systems.

Its modern, straight-edge exterior is balanced by flowing, circular interiors complete with custom-rounded furniture. Overall there’s more than 8,400 square feet of space, 6 bedrooms, and 4.5 bathrooms with an additional 3-bedroom guest house.

Outside you’ll have over 85 acres of double-gated land with sustainable gardens, a saltwater pool, and an archery range. Being situated in Tenino, you’re just a little over 20 minutes away from Olympia or an hour from Olympic National Forest.

You can check out the property right here.
