The third season of Ted Lasso is nearly out, and fans can soon make the trip out to Richmond, London for their own taste of “the Lasso way.” Airbnb and Warner Bros. have teamed up to give loveable pub owner and barmaid Mae (played by Annette Badland), the night off with a new themed Airbnb stay.
Starting this March, Ted Lasso fans can book a stay at The Crown & Anchor pub and live out their favourite moments from the show. Cheer on beloved local Richmond sports teams (decked out in AFC Richmond gear), play a few rounds of darts and pinball, and enjoy tasty pub fare surrounded by fellow ‘Greyhounds.’
Oh, and don’t forget to sip on some English tea – or “garbage water,” as Ted calls it.
Situated right around the corner from Ted’s apartment, the traditional English pub (The Prince’s Head in real life) serves as a local watering hole for football fans in the area, in addition to being a key star of the show.
“The Crown & Anchor is an essential fixture for AFC Richmond – it’s where friends, colleagues and teammates come together to celebrate our triumphs or cope with the agony of relegation,” says Annette Badland, actress and Airbnb Host. “That’s why I’m pleased to host guests (and take the night off). Time to give others the opportunity to experience the same camaraderie and sense of community that Coach Lasso inspires.”
