A huge Filipino street festival is happening in Toronto this weekend

We’re halfway through summer, and the festivals are still going strong! Taste of Manila is coming back for its 10th edition this weekend and they’re promising to be bigger and better than ever.

Organized by the nonprofit group, Society of Philippine Artists, Recreation and Community (SPARC), Taste of Manila 2023 will take over a piece of Bathurst Street at the corner of Wilson Avenue.

“We promise to hold an exciting street party that has never been seen before,” says SPARC.

The beloved festival kicks off on August 19th and will stick around until August 20th for two days of fun.

Over 400,000 visitors from across North America are expected to join in the festivities. Attendees can expect live music, cultural arts, and delicious cuisine.

You can expect delicious drinks and bites from some of the best Filipino spots in Toronto.

There will be well over 130 vendors in attendance, it is the second-largest event of its kind in Ontario.

The street fair will span 2 whole kilometres with all kinds of local vendors, entertainment, and cuisine to enjoy.

The event is free to attend so mark your calendars and get ready. It’s about to be a tasty weekend!
