New York to LA: Canada’s Swoop airline adds five US destinations starting at $99

Pack your bags, jet-setters because Canada’s ultra-low fare airline, Swoop, has announced that they have, not only, added five new and exciting destinations to its catalogue, it’ll also expand its current seasonal services just in time for summer!

“As part of our planned growth in 2022, we’re excited to be adding five new popular U.S. destinations to our network,” Bert van der Stege, Head of Commercial & Finance at Swoop said in a press release.

“As Canada’s leading ultra-low-cost carrier, we are growing our fleet, expanding our network, and adding service to existing destinations to ensure we are ready to meet Canadian’s pent-up demand for travel experiences south of the border.”

From New York and Chicago to Nashville, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, Canadians will soon be able to book one-way flights for as low as $99 – dependant, of course, on their departure city.

As the table above shows, those flying out from the Toronto Pearson Airport will be able to land in Las Vegas for super cheap as soon as May 20th – so we hope you’re feeling lucky!

As for Swoop’s other compatible cities like Edmonton and Hamilton – new destinations will be added throughout the month of June.

If you’re interested in hitting up any of these new destinations, tickets are on sale now – but hurry! We have a sneaky suspicion that these seats will go pretty quick. Swoop is no longer Canada’s only low-cost option, as Lynx Air out of Calgary has also added a bevy of ultra-cheap domestic flights.

Looks like 2022 may end up being a travel year after all.
