It’s more or less been the perfect winter to get outside, and we’re giving you one more reason to do so! The Sweet Treats & Latte Festival has taken over Old Strathcona, and tons of local spots have joined in. Things kicked off earlier this month, but you’ve still got almost two weeks to check it out! Here’s what to know.
Having started on February 5th and running until the 27th, the Sweet Treats & Latte Festival features 18 different cafes, bakeries, and other spots offering some wondering winter treats. We’re not ones to discriminate when it comes to some cold weather wonders, so we’ve rounded up all the spots for you.

The options really live up to the name, too. You’ll find everything from classic hot chocolates to vegan cupcakes to interesting (and delicious-sounding) options like cookie dough hot chocolate or tea lattes. But, we think your best bet is to go exploring one afternoon and find your favourite in person!
