When we think of summer, we think of lounging outdoors, surrounded by blooming nature and live music. And at Vancouver’s beautiful botanical garden, this is soon to become a reality, with a new “Sweet Sounds of Summer” concert series set for VanDusen this summer.

With two dates in July and August respectively, the immersive series will offer garden visitors the perfect blend of nature and melodies, featuring talented local artists across multiple genres.

From family-style folk to “plant music,” here are all the performing artists at the Sweet Sounds of Summer:

Hungry for a bite or a beverage? Food vendors at the Sweet Sounds of Summer include Aperitivo, Bistrot Van, Planted Love, Berry Mobile, Camion Café (only on July 14), and Melt City Grilled Cheese (only on August 18).

Concerts will take place on the Garden’s Great Lawn at VanDusen on July 14th and August 18th, with shows slated for 10:30 am and 3:30 pm.

Note that doors open an hour before each concert starts. So grab your picnic blankets and lawn chairs, and get ready to sprawl out for the ultimate relaxing afternoon.

Note that a limited number of tickets are available for each concert, with tickets priced at $24 per adult and $12 per child, plus fees.
