Longer days are ahead! If early sunsets (and shorter days) were getting you down this winter, you won’t have to endure it much longer. The sunset time will be later in Toronto starting this week – here’s what to know.

According to Time and Date, the sun has been setting in Toronto anywhere between 6:06 PM and 6:17 PM since the start of March.

Well, get excited because come March 10th, the sunset will be pushed by a whole hour.

March 10th marks the start of Daylight Saving Time in Ontario, and also marks the start of later sunsets.

Time and Date has Toronto’s sunset on March 10th over an hour later than the other sunsets this month, at 7:18 PM!

By the last day of March, Time and Date shows the sun setting at 7:43 PM.

Don’t worry, you have a while to enjoy these late sunsets in the city. Time and Date shows the sunset time in Toronto will be after the 7:00 hour until September.

The last sunset before the 6:00 hour will be on September 29th, when the day will turn to night at 7:01 PM.
