Calgary shoppers will soon have another place to shop for Asian beauty products, snacks, and lifestyle goods, as Sukoshi Mart is set to open a second location at SouthCentre Mall this spring.
The Canadian retailer first arrived at CrossIron Mills Mall in 2024, and since then has become a popular spot for hard-to-find snacks, beauty products, stationery, and unique lifestyle items.
The company was founded in 2018 as a small passion project by co-founders Nancy Young and Linda Dang, who drew inspiration from Japanese convenience stores known for carrying a variety of everyday items. Sukoshi Mart’s first-ever location opened in Kensington Market in Toronto, as a small shop filled with stationery, asian beauty products, and snacks.
Sukoshi Mart carries a wide variety of Korean skincare products, such as the TIRTIR Cushion Foundation that recently went viral on TikTok, alongside a huge selection of sheet masks, and plenty of other must-have beauty products.
This store is also a paradise for blind box collectors; they carry a huge range of options from Sonny Angels to Smiski’s and more. Shoppers can also browse adorable plushies, unique stationery, and vinyls from their favourite K-pop artists.
Additionally, there is a Photo Booth at certain locations, which gives customers the chance to capture memories. And the company hosts plenty of in-store events, including the opportunity to meet Smiski himself!
While the exact opening date for the new Sukoshi Mart location hasn’t been announced yet, it’s set to open this spring.
But you don’t have to wait to get your fix; head over to the CrossIron Mills location in the meantime to browse the vast selection of products.
Whether you’re stopping in for a quick browse or on the hunt for some collectibles, Sukoshi Mart is a spot for exploration, and each trip truly feels like an adventure.
