Foodies of Toronto, you and your taste buds are going on an adventure! The city’s popular Street Eats Market has announced a brand new event series that combines carnival fun and delicious eats.
This year, Street Eats Market will host a series of “Eats Theme Park” events, and according to the description, it’s the first of its kind in the world.
The first one of the season will be hosted in Mississauga during Victoria Day long weekend.
“Eats Theme Park is the world’s first food theme park of its kind, bringing multiple themed food festivals together, all in one massive foodie wonderland,” says the description.
The events will take place monthly from May to September, and there are so many exciting themes to try.

Here are all of the foodie theme parks we have to look forward to in 2023:
“Enjoy live bands, cooking demonstrations, eating competitions, photo opps, a kids zone (includes unlimited access to inflatables, arts and craft activities), family-friendly axe throwing, giant games, character meet and greets, and much more,” says a description of the event.
The foodie theme parks will take place in various locations around the GTA, including Mississauga, Whitby, and Markham.
The events will also be reducing their waste this year with reusable plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery.
This isn’t the only food festival series making a comeback in our city.
The largest weekly open-air food market in the US, Smorgasburg, announced that it will return to Toronto every Sunday from June to September and it’ll be bigger and better than before.
