The “Stranger Things” Creel house just hit the market & here’s a look inside

If you’re ready to ditch Seattle for the south, a move to Georgia might just be in order. Why Georgia? Well, The “Stranger Things” Creel house just hit the market and it’s anything but strange, in fact, it’s spectacular. Let’s check it out and learn a bit about it’s history.

If you’re familiar with the show, the house is briefly the home of the Creel family. After tragedy strikes the home is abandoned until the 1980s, but, in the Upside Down, the house is Vecna’s base of operations. And while not might look spooky in the show, it’s anything but that in real life.

In real life, the home is a 7 bedroom, 7 bathroom 6,000 square foot residence that was built in 1882. Its previous owners restored the home to its former Victorian glory which you can see reflected in original details like “handcrafted built-in bookshelves, cabinetry, large and layered moldings, and a custom buffet.”

While the home is much brighter and happier in real life, you’ll still be able to recognize certain rooms from Stranger Things. You’ll recognize the majestic formal dining room (sans telekinesis) and also the adjoining parlor which could be come your perfect spot for playing Dungeons and Dragons.

Not only is this home stunning but it’s also pretty affordable compared to the normal Seattle home prices. If you happen to have an extra $1.5 million burning a hole in your pocket the Creel family home might not be such a bad purchase.
