Raise your glass, Calgary! A new food and wine festival will kick off Stampede this year

With Stampede season getting closer by the day, we’re gearing up for all the incredible music, rodeo attractions, and wacky Midway foods set for this year’s festival. This officially includes an all-new food and wine experience called Stampede Cellar Uncorked – so get ready to sip (and snack) on Alberta’s best!

The new event features champion wines from the inaugural Stampede Cellar Showdown International Wine Competition, which showcased over 550 wines from 80 different wine agencies back in February.

Guests can sip on the bold reds and crisp whites that came out on top – as well as savour local bites from some of the best restaurants in the province.

At the end of their culinary journeys, guests will have the chance to vote for their favourite wines and bites!

Celebrity judges Kevin Conniff, Nicole Gomes, Ryan Massel, Patricia Lau, and Manuel Panfili will also be there to weigh in on the tasty creations.

Tickets & info

The new Stampede experience will take place at the BMO Centre, with GA tickets priced at $125 per person.

Each ticket comes with all-inclusive access to food and wine sampling and a Calgary Stampede Riedel glass keepsake!

VIP tables for eight can be purchased for $1,400, which gives guests early access to the festival and sampling.
