It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for – and it’s back at Spruce Meadows!

Calgary’s favourite equestrian event returns for another year, and there’s plenty to get excited about.

The ‘North American’ at Spruce Meadows is a massive 5-day event that runs from Wednesday, July 3rd to Sunday, July 7th with family-friendly activities on the July 6th and 7th weekend.

The competition is expected to be fierce as contestants vie for the coveted $1 Million Dollar ATCO Queen Elizabeth II Cup. You’ll be on the edge of your seat as you watch! Plus, the once-a-year Sun Life Derby is on Sunday!.

Aside from the spectacular horse shows, there will also be a CGI Kids’ Zone with mini cows, goats, and ponies. Don’t forget to stop by the face painting station courtesy of Pinnovate with the kiddos!

To top it all off, you’ll find the brand new Huntley Oaks at the Sun Life Derby, a VIPsocial party at theDerby this year. It’s the epitome of sophistication and style inspired by iconic derbies from around the world. The event will be held in the Canada House, a VIP venue that’s right beside the International Ring – and dressing up is strongly encouraged. Tickets to Huntley Oaks are limited, so snap up yours quickly!

Tickets to the ‘North American’ start at just $10 for general admission, which includes all kid’s activities and parking. There are also reserved seating and VIP options available.
