While it is still August, we are slowly getting used to saying ‘spooky season’ because of Halloween fun already announced! Another ‘spooky’ experience returning is a classic must-do Halloween activity. We’re talking Spirit of Halloweentown taking over in St. Helens, Oregon.

You’re probably no stranger to the 1998 Disney classic, Halloweentown. And this season, you can actually visit it in person, and it’s a little road trip away from Seattle.

St. Helens, Oregon, served as the backdrop for the fan-favorite movie, and parts of Twilight were also filmed there.

And a visit there this fall is truly perfect for those who love the classic Halloween movie and the spirit of this season.

According to its website, “from September 28 to October 31, the entire city of St. Helens, Oregon, transforms into a Halloween wonderland! Immerse yourself in a month-long celebration.”

During that month, you will be able to check out “themed weekends,” which include Twilight Weekend to the 26th Anniversary of Disney’s “Halloweentown.” Additionally, there will be celebrity appearances, pumpkin lighting and photo ops.

For families, there will be haunted tours, as well as interactive exhibits.

So if you’re planning ahead for your spooky season, be sure to add Halloweentown to your list!

More details will be released soon, and we’ll keep you posted as they come out.
