Not only can you enjoy the sights, but you can check some items off your holiday shopping list while you’re at it! Southampton’s downtown strip features a wide range of stores from clothing, toys, interior decor, cookware, farmer’s markets and more.

If a horse-drawn wagon is your transportation of choice while exploring, you can catch your ride at 173 High Street. No reservation is required, but spots come on a first-come first-seated basis.

Rides will run from 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM on Fridays and although the service is a free treat from the Southampton BIA, they say a donation to the local food bank is appreciated.

Warm up afterwards with some festive treats from Elk and Finch Coffee Pub and Bistro located at 54 Albert Street. Their extensive menu is sure to be a hit with everyone in your group, offering up everything from pizzas, appetizers, wine, coffees and a wide selection of desserts.

Making a date night out of it? just steps from where you’ll catch the horse-drawn wagons, Walker House is the place to go for a delicious meal and warm atmosphere. This restaurant sits at 146 High Street, with a mouth-watering menu including Smoked Mozzarella Ravioli and Grilled Ribeye.

A trip to this stunning wintery paradise is a no-brainer! Grab a friend or your family and indulge in some holiday fun.
