Whether you call it pumpkin spice time or spooky season, one thing’s for sure — fall has officially arrived here in Seattle! And it’s time to get out there and enjoy the best of the season.
Fall for SLU Celebration is returning to the South Lake Union neighborhood for some full-on autumnal fun, taking place at the Day 1 Playfield and Nitro Plaza on Saturday, Oct. 11, and Sunday, Oct. 12. This free community event is all about local flavours, family fun, and festive vibes right in the heart of the city.
Kick things off over at Nitro Plaza, where you can soak up the atmosphere as you browse through a market full of seasonal treats and goodies. You’ll also get to sip on a complimentary cup of yummy cider from Farestart.
Then, keep the family fun going over at Day 1 Playfield as you hunt for the perfect pumpkin to take home and carve at the free pumpkin patch, wind your way through the corn maze, and show off your moves to the beats of a live DJ. Don’t forget to snap a few Insta-worthy pics while you’re at it — there’s sure to be lots of themed photo ops.
Free, fun, and fall-themed? It doesn’t get much better than this! Seattle’s fall afternoons are calling; here is one of the best ways to celebrate them.
So don a cozy sweater, get out there, and fall in love with everything autumnal at SLU Celebration! And, be sure to keep an eye out for more of SLU’s exciting events throughout the season.
