This Alberta ranch offers magical sleigh rides through the Rocky Mountains

There’s snow on the ground, lights on the tree, and magic in the air at Boundary Ranch in Kananaskis, Alberta.

The winter season is here and there is no shortage of ways to celebrate—especially if you want to do something with your family, or special someone.

Want to visit the mountains? See all there is to see from the back of a horse-drawn sleigh.

Sleigh Rides at Boundary Ranch

Nestled in the Rockies, Boundary Ranch is a beautiful destination no matter the time of year!

In the summertime, guests can go rafting, have a BBQ, or go horseback riding — and in the winter, they can let someone else take the reins!

Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, lovebirds and out-of-town visitors are encouraged to take an old-fashioned trot through the trees.

Cuddle up under a cozy blanket with hot chocolate and see buffalo and glistening summits, then sit by a crackling fire for s’mores.

Each trip costs $49 (per adult) and includes a 30 to 45-minute ride in the vinyl-padded sled, as well as one cup of cocoa.
