August is a month of many exciting events and celebrations, but the most vibrant by far – is YYC Pride! This year, in support of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and the Skipping Stone Foundation, indulge in a series of tasty sips as part of the fourth annual Shake, Stir and Strainbow – a boozy festival with over 50 participating restaurants all over Alberta!
Between August 16th and September 3rd, Wild Rose Country’s best taverns and brewhouses, distilleries, cafes and cocktail bars will all be serving an array of unique and colourful offerings – and you will not want to miss it!
The best part? $1 from every drink sold will go towards an incredible organization that vows to give trans, transgender, non-binary, gender diverse, and those questioning, exploring or looking to affirm their gender identity or expression a safe judgement-free place to grow, learn and socialize.
