Seattle has been popping off with new restaurants this summer. We’re sorry if you haven’t already eaten your way through your must-try list, but we’re about to add one more spot – Shaka Snacks. Shaka is Seattle’s newest spot for Hawaiian eats and has a menu full of musubi and more.

Shaka Snacks opened earlier in July and features a menu with three main items, musubi, ban chan, and bao burgers. Musubi ranges from classic SPAM offerings to chicken, pork, seafood, and also some vegetarian options.

What’s more, the most expensive musubi on the menu is $6.75 making it a great affordable snack choice. Other prices for musubi range from $3.75 for Seared SPAM to $4.75 for Cali Crab and Mochiko Chicken, to $5 for SPAM, Bacon & Egg, and SPAM Egg & Avocado.

As far as ban chan, you’ll find offerings like macaroni salad, shoyu potatoes, cucumber kimchi and more. Each ban chan is offered in small and large sizes or you can choose to grab a combo of three with rice. The bao burger is a little more simple with beef, chicken, and plant-based options.

It’s worth noting that they also do catering. So if you try them out and need them at your next party or event, that is certainly an option.

With that, enjoy!
