“Whether you prefer splashing in the water or sunbathing, paddling on your SUP or building a sandcastle, playing at the playground or enjoying a leisurely stroll along the waterfront, Shabogesic Beach on Lake Nipissing, is where you want to be,” says Tourism North Bay.

While not every beach in North Bay is supervised, Shabogesic Beach is making it a great place to bring your family.

Lifeguards are on duty from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM seven days a week.

Getting to the beach is easy, nestled along North Bay’s waterfront area.

There is a rental store along the beach called Boathouse Rentals where visitors can rent kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and water bikes!

The beach also features a volleyball court.

End your day at the beach the best way – with ice cream. Down the way from the beach is Dock Shoppe Ice Cream, an adorable ice cream place at the end of the dock on Memorial Drive.

We couldn’t dream of a better day at the beach!
