The Lavender Capital of North America, Sequim, Washington is coming alive this weekend for its beloved Lavender Festival. If you’re a fan of supporting local farmers and the fragrant plant then this festival is for you. Here’s what to expect from this year’s Sequim Lavender Festival.

The festival will take place this weekend starting on July 21st and ending on July 23rd.

Guests will be able to enjoy live music, food and check out hundreds of vendors at the festival’s street fair. You can also choose to take a farm tour to see how it’s all grown, pick your own lavender to take home, and even watch on-farm demonstrations.

Keep in mind that during the festival you’ll have access to farms that are generally closed to the public at other times of the year. So it’s the perfect excuse to visit as many farms as your schedule will allow. After all, you can’t really take home too much lavender, can you?

The festival is free to attend, but you may have to pay to participate in certain tours and activities. With that, be sure to mark your calendars and get ready to enjoy one of the best-smelling weekends of the year.
