The Seattle Public Library can give you access to a lot more than just books. While reading is transporting in itself, why not actually visit a new place thanks to the Museum Pass program? To make things even better, the library just added five new partners to the program,.

The SPL Museum Pass program gives you access to the Burke Museum, MoPop Museum of Pop Culture, Museum of Flight, Nordic Heritage Museum, Seattle Aquarium, and Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience all for free. Pretty cool right? Well get this, now you can also visit, the Center for Wooden Boats, the Henry Art Gallery, Museum of History & Industry, the Seattle Art Museum and the Seattle Asian Art Museum.

Best of all, all you have to do in order to use the program is be a Seattle Public Library cardholder! You’re allowed to reserve one free Museum Pass per week with each pass admitting at least two adults; some passes allow more, and may include free admission for kids ages 17 and under.

Keep in mind new passes are made available every day after 12 pm and the when reserving you will have to enter your Library card number and PIN, then choose a specific date and print the museum pass. You can snag your passes at SPL’s website. Enjoy Seattle!
