Seattle food truck goes viral for sign about proper masking

Well, folks, the COVID-19 pandemic has been here for over a year now. And even though we all get told to wear masks, keep our distance and wash hands, some people still don’t get it. So the owner of the local Swine and Steel BBQ truck decided to remind folks how it’s done.

The massive sign on the food truck reads “masks go over mouth & nose, it’s been a year, I could potty train a dog faster than this”. You know what, they’re probably right.

The sign was tweeted by Twitter user @KylePlantEmoji and absolutely took off. His went viral, but replications of the tweet went even bigger. Then, four days ago the picture rocketed to the top of Seattle’s Reddit page. Ah, we love the internet.

So if you want some delicious BBQ you should check out Swine and Steel and if you feel extra generous you can donate to help them rebuild part of their truck here. Plus, we love supporting local restaurants, especially those that are concerned with public safety. So Swine and Steel definitely get two thumbs up from us.

As always, we’ll remind you to wear your masks (properly) and keep your distance. Otherwise, you’ll start seeing more and more genius signs like the one above.JTNDZGl2JTIwaWQlM0QlMjJtb2JpbGUtYWQtb25seSUyMiUzRSUwQSUzQyUyMS0tJTIwU2VhdHRsZSUyMC0lMjBNb2JpbGUlMjAtLSUzRSUwQSUzQ2lucyUyMGNsYXNzJTNEJTIyYWRzYnlnb29nbGUlMjIlMEElMjAlMjAlMjAlMjAlMjBzdHlsZSUzRCUyMmRpc3BsYXklM0FibG9jayUzQndpZHRoJTNBMzIwcHglM0JoZWlnaHQlM0E1MHB4JTNCJTIyJTBBJTIwJTIwJTIwJTIwJTIwZGF0YS1hZC1jbGllbnQlM0QlMjJjYS1wdWItNTUyMTg1Njk1NTQ5NzQ1NiUyMiUwQSUyMCUyMCUyMCUyMCUyMGRhdGEtYWQtc2xvdCUzRCUyMjE2MjcxNzI5NDclMjIlM0UlM0MlMkZpbnMlM0UlMEElM0MlMkZkaXYlM0U=
