The Seattle Kraken have teamed up with Black Girl Hockey Club for exclusive gear

It’s been a minute since we’ve talked about the Seattle Kraken. But recently the team paired up with Black Girl Hockey Club to create exclusive beanies to support BGHC’s scholarship program. So if you’re already a fan of the team and want to support current and future Black female athletes this is a collab you can’t miss out on.

Black Girl Hockey Club’s scholarship helps to subsidize the costs of playing hockey for Black girls. This is a sport where Black women are sorely underrepresented and this scholarship gives Black girls and young women from 9-18 years old the chance to play. And what’s super cool is that they help girls all over North America.

Right now you can snag the exclusive beanies at the Seattle Kraken store in South Lake Union and Bellevue. They cost $32.95 and all net proceeds go to BGHC. So sport some new gear, honor Black History Month, and support future Black athletes. It’s an excellent initiative.
