Bubble Tea is a drink that folks either love or hate. But here in Seattle, plenty of people are fans of the sweet and satisfying drink. That’s evident in the sheer number of boba shops our city has and also makes sense as to why the first-ever Seattle Boba Fest is happening this weekend!
Seattle Boba Fest is happening in the U District with the event page stating that the “U District is fast becoming the heart of the boba scene in Seattle.” It is also a celebration of National Bubble Tea Day which happens to be April 30th.

Festival attendees will be able to enjoy 16 unique boba drinks like cream strawberry, white rabbit candy milk tea, TieGuanYin latte, and more. There are also 2 unique boba-centric desserts being offered including vanilla soft serve with brown sugar boba and milk tea ice cream with boba topping. Talk about yummy!
This event is only happening for one day only so be sure to mark your calendars. There’s no festival admission, all you have to do is show up to one or a few of the participating boba shops and enjoy. Psst, the festival has a handy map that you can find on their website.
