Seattle ranks among world’s most “Insta-worthy sunset destinations”

Seattle and Washington as a whole are full of tons of natural beauty. From our local beaches to parks known for their sunsets, there is no shortage of sights to be seen. Now it looks like our city is getting recognition for being one of the world’s most Insta-worthy sunset destinations.

The new research comes from Titan Travel, where they analyzed social data from popular social platforms, like Instagram and TikTok, to determine the world’s best sunset spots, as crowned by the public.

The top 10 most photogenic sunset spots in the world are as follows:

1. Bali, Indonesia
2. Santorini, Greece
3. Ibiza, Spain
4. Maui, United States
5. San Diego, United States
6. London, United Kingdom
7. Key West, United States
8. Seattle, United States
9. Perth, Australia
10. Paris, France

Titan Travel doesn’t break down exactly why Seattle came in eighth place, but we know a few reasons. Think about it, our Emerald City is surrounded by water, and mountains and in close proximity to amazing forests. We have hilltop viewpoints, idyllic shores and so much more. On a sunny day, you’re able to catch a sunset with Mount Rainier in the distance and what could possibly be more magical than that?
