Choo Choo, Santa is coming to town! Well, to Snoqualmie at least. The Northwest Railway Museum is hosting their annual holiday trains and this year you can choose between two experiences. Here’s what to expect from this year’s Santa Train.

The first train experience is the Yuletide Express. The 25-minute holiday excursion is a great option for those not able to commit to a longer train ride while still getting all of the holiday joy. The ride departs from and returns to the historic Snoqualmie Depot to. You can expect a seasonally decorated train with antique coaches, and a stunning view of the river valley.

The second train experience is the Santa Limited. It’s a 2-hour holiday excursion begins at and returns to the North Bend Depot. You’ll get to ride to the Railway History Campus, and view the inside of the seasonally decorated Train Shed Exhibit Hall. Some of the possible activities include visiting Santa in the restored Chapel Car and getting to tour a Weyerhaeuser Caboose.

While these train rides don’t take place until the end of November and into December they sell out every single year. So we highly recommend purchasing your tickets ASAP. Have fun!
