The protected area covers 7,140 acres and is renowned for its unique landscape, characterized by juniper trees, shifting sand dunes, and a diverse array of desert flora and fauna. It offers an excellent opportunity for hiking, wildlife watching, and photography, with its untouched beauty and serene ambiance.

The Beverly Sand Dunes are located within Naneum Ridge State Forest and provide prime recreation grounds for those looking to sandboard, and enjoy 4x4s, ATVs, UTVs, and motorcycles. In the state park, you can also enjoy, hiking, camping, and much more.
