There’s nothing better than waterfront dining during Seattle summer. If you’ve exhausted your usual haunts and are looking to try something new, you’re in luck. The group behind Elliott’s Oyster House has opened a new Italian spot called Salt District right on the water.
Salt District is bringing new life to the former Red Robin space on Pier 55. The interior has been changed to reflect a much less chaotic vibe, reminiscent of the PNW and our surrounding waters. There is also of course an outdoor patio allowing you to watch all the action of Elliott Bay.

The menu features starters like Foccacia, burrata, and meatballs. You can also find boards with items like cured sardines, cheese, meat, and more. There’s also a selection of salads, pasta, and bruschetta. Of course, you’ll also find entrees with options like cioppino, lamb osso buco, porchetta, and more.
Best of all, Salt District is open now so you don’t have to wait to give it a try. You can learn more at their website and if you’re looking to eat out this weekend it might just be worth paying them a visit.
