Ryan Reynolds watched ‘Green Lantern’ for the first time & his reactions are hilarious

Guess what folks, we’re going to talk about Ryan Reynolds again. Because he celebrated Saint Patrick’s Day in a pretty unique way. And that was by watching his own movie ‘Green Lantern’ for the first time. Luckily for all of us, he recorded his reactions via Twitter.

In case you didn’t know, ‘Green Lantern’ is regarded as one of the worst superhero movies ever made. Starring Reynolds and his now-wife Blake Lively, its critic’s consensus on Rotten Tomatoes reads ‘Noisy, overproduced, and thinly written, Green Lantern squanders an impressive budget and decades of comics mythology’. Hey, they can’t all be winners!

Understandably, Ryan Reynolds never took the time to watch it after filming ended. But here he is, nearly 10 years later.

It seems like he knew this screening was going to be pretty rough considering he decided to get boozed up before. And of course, his booze of choice was his very own Aviator Gin. Plus he went the extra mile and made a green cocktail to go along with the whole Saint Patrick’s Day theme. We have to say the Twitter thread is absolutely hilarious and worth reading if you need a laugh. But to give you an idea, here are a few of our faves.

We told you they were pretty funny. If you’d like to read more for a good laugh you can click here. And if you need something to watch this weekend, you can always watch ‘Green Lantern’.
